I am a contemporary visual artist based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, working primarily in oils. I love capturing still life scenes and landscapes, focusing on light, colour, and simple details.<\/p>\n
I am especially drawn to quiet, everyday beauty\u2014the way light hits a surface, the changing seasons, or the shadows at the end of the day. I am inspired by how light moves through the sky and how its reflections change what we see\u2014whether it\u2019s the glow of early morning or the colours of a fading sunset.<\/p>\n
Painting helps me slow down and helps me notice the finer details in life. It brings me a great sense of peace, and I hope that feeling comes through in my work.<\/p>\n
Each painting is a way for me to tell a small story or capture a moment. I enjoy creating pieces that feel familiar and calming.<\/p>\n
In addition to studio work, I have participated in a number of collaborative and community-based art initiatives, including school-led projects and local arts festivals. My work has been exhibited throughout Offaly and across Ireland, and is held in both public and private collections, nationally and internationally<\/p>\n
